These terms cover your use of Cata at cataguide.com. By creating an account you agree to them.

Who can use Cata

You must be 21 or older. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in safe.

Beta

Cata is in beta. Features may change, and things may break. Download a backup in Profile if you want your own copy of your tastings.

Your content

Your tastings and notes are yours. When you share a tasting on Home, or add a cigar or shop to the shared lists, you let Cata show it to other users and use it, without your name, in aggregated insights as described in the Privacy Policy.

Keep it civil and honest. Don't post anything unlawful, hateful or someone else's private information. We can remove content or accounts that break these rules.

Notes, scores and suggestions

Tasting notes are drafted by an AI from your answers, and scores and suggestions are calculated from your answers. They're for your enjoyment, not professional advice or expert ratings.

No health claims

Cata makes no claims about the health effects of tobacco. Cigars contain tobacco and are harmful to your health.

No warranty

Cata is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Cata.

Ending your account

You can delete your account anytime in Profile. We can suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes and contact
